PinkOculus (Animation)

PinkOculus is the name of my Major Project created during the academic year 2011-2012 for a Master at Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication. This project include the realisation of a sequence of illustrations and a 3D animation representing an original interpretation of Hell, Purgatory and Paradise. It is based mainly on the theme of the inner journey treated by Dante in the Divine Comedy, but also it has many other contaminations.

The nature, archaeology, contemporary art and culture, are among the subjects confronted within this project. Also the colourful psychedelic art, has influenced the style and the mood of this project. Respect the tones sometimes dark and excessively serious of Dante, PinkOculus depicts a colourful and enthusiastic vision of Hell, Purgatory and Paradise.

PinkOculus is a project influenced by many fields, without becoming a slave to anyone. A wide and eclectic study to reach the maximum completeness, with many levels of interpretation which rejects a simple and unique definition. Read Less
