For Tribal DDB Amsterdam, we developed a stencil-styled unique look under the creative helm of Raphael Bartels for the new high speed railway line of the NS. The new lines connect several european cities, and this was emphasized by highlighting a few destinations in an old school poster-like fashion, with a red glowing pulse racing through the scene, lighting up the environment.
We used 3d models to create stencil masks, and created the look in post by combining those masks with scanned hand-colored gradients, sometimes slightly offsetting the different colors to create the hand-printed look - a graphic style that stood out uniquely among the other commercials on TV.
