- In his living room, a young man is sleeping, lying on a couch. He's dreaming. His dream leads him to an unknown planet, a haven of peace which the ecosystem, organized around hairs, is composed primarily of forests full of moustache-trees. But then arise creepy tanks with in their wake, an armada of cutting instruments, tracked razors and giant crabs with tweezers, undertaking to eradicate every hair of the planet.
Modern Spleen is part of the « Laboratoire d’Images » short film collection. 8 students worked during eight weeks with the french illustrators Lisa Lugrin and Clément Xavier to produce this short film. The full lenght movie was broadcasted on Canal+, a french TV channel, in 2011. It's now available on the DVD boxset of the collection. - Year of Production : 2009
