Description
This was a just-for-fun project I created to play with a few ideas I had rolling around in my head. All the elements were created in Photoshop and Illustrator, and all animation done in After Effects. One of my goals with this piece was to create a nice 3 dimensional feel, without using any 3D models or renders. I wanted to find a nice medium between the really diorama-esque After Effects 2.5D, and a true 3D animation.

    The VW logo at the beginning and the GTI logo at the end were created by animating Photoshop layer styles, the cars are all clipped and painted photos, and the fire and headlight streaks are Particular.
