Fashion for a Cause
Info
Description
2012 fashion show fundraiser for Truman Medical Center. It took place at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts and was hosted by Giuliana Rancic.
We presented a flat screen that physically transformed into a tunnel runway in front of the unexpecting audience. Each collection was matched by moving visual imagery projected unto the runway - visuals inspired by the materials found in the corresponding collections, ie: the fur collection brought in fur visuals and so on.
The grand theme of the show was Emergence. This theme was carried out in the design and movement of the visuals as we were inspired by sea creatures moving in and emerging from water. As a grand finale a creature emerges formed by all materials that had been introduced progressively with each model on the runway.
The interactive team used Max/MSP to track live effects unto the pre rendered content as well as to track the visuals so they would move in with each model walking the runway.
My role:
Design, concept development and creative direction.
Animation with Sean McKeon.
Created at T2 Studios. Visit t2.tv for more info.
