FX Brand Refresh

Description
FX Brand Refresh
2009 was the year Artillery produced the rebrand for FX UK and the year FX won 'Best Entertainment Channel of the Year' at the Broadcast awards.
The client wanted to update the brand with a new look on and off air. The campaign included all on air packaging and a set of six new idents.
We worked closely alongside the Creative team at FX with the concept, the overall tone to the project was to give the brand a new sense of scale; to keep it clean and light with an entertaining tone and bags of personality and to balance style with substance, and ensure the work reflects a scale and grandeur.
The six idents were all shot on Red One cameras and mixed with 3D CG Graphics integrated into the live action footage. The FX tab designed and animated in After Effects was devised as a neat little device to stand out from the ordinary but not overwhelm the content. The theme of the idents were driven by the specific programme genres e.g. Crime, Comedy and Drama.
