    2D animation backgrounds for 2012 Oscar-nominated film Chico & Rita
  • 2D backgrounds and props based on concept designs by Javier Mariscal. I also drawn a lot of BGs and props to be integrated with 3D elements.

    The main locations of the story are La Havana and New York City in 40´s-50´s. All the environment elements (streets, buildings, furniture, graphics...) were developed using an exhaustive visual documentation. Line artwork drawn with markers on paper.
