I was asked to create a new logo and leader package for the new music program OUTMUSIC for the TV station OUTTV were I work right now. There was an existing logo of OUTTV consisting of those same words joined bij a TV graphic in perspective.
So I had to come up with a way to make the OUTMUSIC logo not only be in style with the TV logo, I also had to think of a way to animate it.
So What I came up with is the following: I thought of a Radio tuner that comes by different stations and types of music along a am/fm path. So I reduced the TV graphic to give it an open apeal, and replaced the word TV with MUSIC. I Now had the freedom of moving the Tuner bar along a path where it could find different types of clips/music video's and this could be translated into both visuals and sleek audio design.
The tuner ends up at the actual logo and brand name, indicating that this is the place you want to be.
